The Türkiye Kupası, the Turkish Cup, is the national knockout competition of Turkish football and has been played since 1962–63. Amateur and lower-division clubs begin in the early rounds in late summer, Süper Lig clubs enter in the autumn, and the competition is decided in the spring.
The format has been adjusted several times over the years, moving between group stages and straight knockout rounds; the final is played at a neutral venue chosen each year, and the winner qualifies for the Europa League and meets the Süper Lig champion in the Turkish Super Cup.
Galatasaray are the record winners, followed by Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe and Trabzonspor; Konyaspor, Sivasspor and Bursaspor are among the clubs outside the traditional big names to have lifted it. Golalarm follows every tie with live scores and match details.
