The Süper Lig is the top division of Turkish football and has been played as a national league since 1959. Eighteen clubs play 34 rounds from August to May, with three points for a win and the bottom three relegated to the 1. Lig. The champion and runner-up go into the Champions League qualifying rounds, with further European places decided by the table and the Turkish Cup.

The league has been dominated by Istanbul’s big three — Galatasaray, who lead the all-time list of titles, Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş — and by Trabzonspor, the first club from outside Istanbul to win the championship, in 1975–76. Bursaspor in 2010 and Başakşehir in 2020 are the only other champions. The Galatasaray–Fenerbahçe derby, the Kıtalararası Derbi between the European and Asian shores of the Bosphorus, is the biggest fixture in Turkish sport.

Golalarm is built around the Süper Lig: it is the first competition in every list, every match carries live scores, lineups, statistics and player ratings, and the TV guide shows where each game is broadcast in Turkey. Follow the standings, the top scorers and your club’s next fixture here.
