The Saudi Pro League is the top division of football in Saudi Arabia, founded in 1976. Eighteen clubs play 34 rounds between August and May, with the bottom three relegated. Al Hilal are the record champions; Al Ittihad, Al Nassr, Al Ahli and Al Shabab are the other traditional powers.

The league changed scale in 2023, when the Public Investment Fund took control of the four biggest clubs and a wave of signings — Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr, Karim Benzema at Al Ittihad and Neymar at Al Hilal among them — made it the most talked-about league outside Europe. The foreign-player quota was expanded to match.

The top clubs qualify for the AFC Champions League Elite, and Saudi sides have won Asia’s biggest club competition more often than those of any other country. Golalarm follows every Saudi Pro League match with live scores, lineups and statistics, and keeps the standings up to date.
