The UEFA European Championship, the Euros, is the continental championship for European national teams. It has been held every four years since 1960, in the even years between World Cups, and has grown from a four-team finals to the 24-team tournament used since 2016. Qualifying runs through the preceding year and a half, with the final places decided by Nations League play-offs.
The finals open with six groups of four; the top two in each group and the four best third-placed teams go through to a round of 16, and the tournament runs for a month in June and July. Spain are the record winners with four titles, the most recent in 2024 in Germany, ahead of Germany with three and Italy and France with two.
Euro 2028 will be hosted by the United Kingdom and Ireland. Golalarm covers every match of the finals and the qualifiers with live scores, lineups, statistics and player ratings.
